Happy end?

After I was done with the reassembly I turned it on to see if everything worked. And of course it didn't.

Black looks green but the rest is fine. With a black and white filter this is especially noticeable. I really hope this is just a wrongly orientated polarization filter. Because if it isn't, that means I broke the screen.

I really hope I didn't because that would be basically a death sentence for the camera, as there are no replacement LCD for it available.

The camera is pointing at a duckduckgo search result for 'video test pattern'. What's supposed to be black is a slightly dark green." />

---

There will be a part zwo (at some point) where I fix the rotation and replace the florescent backlight with a LED model.

Oh, in case you where wondering: The viewfinder-LCD was still all green. I hoped just unplugging and plugging the ribbon cable back in would fix it. I don't know yet what to do about that one.
