This didn't work out but at least it's in 3D

// ? I wanted to try something new by posting 3D photos on my blog. The only 3D camera I own is a New Nintendo 3DS XL. To see them you'll ned some red and blue anaglyph glasses. //

describes the process of making something worse while trying to improve it.

About a year ago I imported a Sony Mavica FD95 from Japan, because doing that was cheaper than buying one domestically, even after shipping and customs. That process didn't turn out as expected, but that's a different story. The camera had some issues, that's why it was so cheap: The polarization filter on the screen was milky from UV exposure and the viewfinder-LCD didn't display anything other than solid green. After having the camera sit on a shelf for a year, I decided to finally tackle that repair.

Luckily Sony used to publish extensive repair manuals for their products, making the apart-taking pretty easy.
