WAP was meant for displaying simple websites and online-apps on mobile phones back in the early-mid 2000s. The time where a 21kbit/s mobile connection was considered fast and the screen resolution was measured in double-digit pixels.
</p>
<p>
Screens on mobile Phones grew bigger and their CPUs more powerful while Mobile internet connections got faster and cheaper. So it's no wonder that WAP started out weak and died rather quickly after.
</p>
<p>
But regardless of the fact that next to nobody cared about it back then and even less people care about it now I decided to offer my blog as WAP service.
